This morning, I was surprised when one of the nurses who visited my father in-law told that Michael Jackson died. I even asked the nurse if it's really true because I can't believed that the King of Pop died and the nurse answered that she watched the early news this morning and one of the headlines of the news is about his death. Then, to verify it again, I opened the computer to read the news about him. I felt very sad about his death. He was one of the best and great singer that we have in the world. In fact, I admire him very much. As a singer and a performer. I like his songs and I like the way he moved on the stage everytime he performs while singing his songs. I know that a lot of people will missed him. Because he gave us great songs with a feel-good message, that everytime we heard that songs we lifts us up.

San Giovanni Battista Day

Today is holiday here in Fabriano. They are celebrating the San Giovanni Battista Day which is the town's patron Saint. In preparation in today's event, the Fabrianese held different kinds of activities which they called as Palio and it started last June 13 up to June 24. There were lots of fun and excitement. The Effect Of Hot Weather

It's been a week already that we've been experiencing a very hot weather. Yesterday, my father in-law suffered a nose bleeding. A lot of blood comes out. And since it's been the first time that happened this kind of problem to him (maybe because it's hot), my mother in-law asked help to the Pronto Soccorso. But in the case of my father in-law, it is very hard for us to stop the bleeding because his international normalized ratio (INR) is very high. That's the reason why, he is taking Coumadin that helps inhibit the formation of blood clots. Right now, my father in-law is okay and I hope that it will not happen again this kind of incident.

Yesterday's Activity

Yesterday, my husband and I went to Genga. I was the one who drove the car in going there. And I'm happy because for more than a year of not driving I still know what I learned from the driving school. Well, the reason why I didn't drive the car for more than a year is that, I'm afraid (not of driving but) of going up especially if the road is very narrow. I'm afraid also in a zig zag road. But I have to overcome this fear since it's very important for me to drive the car especially that the transportation here in the place where I am living is not as good as in the Philippines.
